Ceiling Fans for Residential and Commercial Spaces

Proper air movement reduces reliance on air conditioning during warmer months and pushes warm air down from the ceiling during winter. A fan running in reverse (clockwise at low speed) can cut heating costs noticeably in rooms with high ceilings.
Choosing the Right Fan
Room size determines blade span. For rooms up to 75 square feet, a 29 to 36 inch fan works. Rooms between 76 and 144 square feet need 36 to 42 inches. Larger spaces (up to 225 square feet) call for 44 to 50 inch spans. Anything bigger than that may need two fans or a model with a 52-inch or larger blade span.
