Overlay Lenses for Existing Light Fixtures
Overlay lenses are drop-in replacement covers that sit on top of or inside your existing fixture frame. At KASTLITE, we carry overlay lenses designed to restore old fixtures without removing the housing or rewiring anything. If your current fixture lens is scratched, discolored, or broken, an overlay lens gives you a fresh surface and improved light output in minutes.
The concept is simple: measure your fixture opening, order the matching overlay, and set it in place. No tools required for most models. These lenses work especially well on commercial fluorescent troffers, wrap-around fixtures, and surface-mount ceiling lights where the original lens has degraded but the fixture body is still in good shape.
Materials and Light Performance
We offer overlay lenses in prismatic acrylic and smooth diffuser styles. Prismatic overlays direct more light downward and reduce glare, while smooth diffuser lenses provide a softer, more even spread. Both options improve light transmission compared to aged, yellowed original covers.
