Expanded PVC Sheets for Signage, Fabrication, and DIY Projects
Our expanded PVC sheets come in black and white options, both in 1/4" thickness. I recommend these for projects where you need a material that's easy to cut, glue, and shape without special tools. PVC won't absorb moisture, so it holds up well in damp environments where wood or MDF would warp.
Common uses include retail signage, tradeshow displays, cabinet liners, and hobby projects like model building or cosplay props. The material is lighter than solid PVC or acrylic, which makes it easier to mount on walls or hang from ceilings.
How PVC Compares to Other Plastic Sheets
If you're deciding between PVC, acrylic sheets, and polycarbonate sheets, here's the short version: PVC is the easiest to work with and the most affordable. Acrylic gives you better optical clarity. Polycarbonate wins on impact resistance. For indoor signage and fabrication, PVC is usually the right call.
Both our black and white sheets can be painted, printed on, or laminated. They score and snap cleanly, accept adhesives well, and won't crack during drilling. If you need help picking the right sheet material for your project, give us a call at our Clearwater, FL shop.
