KASTLITE egg crate panels are one of the most practical ways to control fluorescent light output and reduce glare. We manufacture both polystyrene and aluminum egg crate options in standard 2x2 and 2x4 sizes, all produced at our Clearwater, Florida facility. Polystyrene and Aluminum Egg Crate Options

Our 2x2 egg crate panels and 2x4 egg crate panels use a 1/2" x 1/2" x 3/8" cell size that works with most standard fluorescent troffers. The polystyrene material is lightweight, easy to cut, and simple to install. For areas that need more durability or a professional finish, our aluminum mill finish egg crate handles heat better and holds up in high-traffic environments like commercial kitchens or industrial ceilings.

We also carry a dedicated egg crate light diffuser with a 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/2" cell that provides deeper light control for fixtures that sit close to workstations or retail displays.

Ordering and Sizing Tips

Measure your existing ceiling grid opening before ordering. Standard drop ceilings accept either the 2x2 or 2x4 panel directly. Polystyrene panels can be trimmed with a utility knife for non-standard openings. Aluminum panels need a fine-tooth saw or tin snips.
