Light Efficient Design LED Retrofit Products

Light Efficient Design (LED Ltd.) is one of the brands I rely on most at KASTLITE for commercial LED conversion projects. They specialize in retrofit bulbs that replace metal halide, high-pressure sodium, and fluorescent lamps without requiring fixture replacement or ballast bypass. You unscrew the old bulb, screw in the LED replacement, and the internal driver handles the rest.

We stock over 120 Light Efficient Design products, covering wattages from 12W up to 150W equivalents. Their corn cob style bulbs are the most popular for post top lights, wall packs, and shoebox fixtures. Color temperatures are available in 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K across most product lines.

Why I Carry This Brand

I have tested a lot of LED retrofit brands over the years. Light Efficient Design stands out because their drivers are reliable, the lumen output matches what they claim, and the product line covers almost every legacy socket type (E26, E39, GX24q, G24d). Their Type B bulbs bypass the ballast entirely, which I recommend for any fixture where the ballast is aging.
