KASTLITE parabolic louver panels reduce glare from fluorescent and LED troffers in offices, schools, hospitals, and retail spaces. Unlike flat egg crate diffusers, a parabolic louver uses curved cell walls that direct light downward at controlled angles. The result is less glare on computer screens and work surfaces, which matters in any space where people stare at monitors for hours. We manufacture four models with different cell sizes to match your fixture type and lighting goals.
Cell Size Options
Our Parasquare 5 (3/4" x 3/4" x 3/8") and Parasquare 6 (3/4" x 3/4" x 1/2") use a tighter cell pattern that controls light distribution more aggressively. These work well in environments with glossy work surfaces or where overhead fixtures sit low. The Parasquare 1 (5/8" x 5/8" x 7/16") offers the finest grid for maximum glare control, while the Parasquare 2 (1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1") has a wider cell that lets more total light through when brightness matters more than glare reduction.
Installation and Compatibility
Each parabolic louver panel drops into a standard 2x2 or 2x4 troffer frame the same way a flat diffuser or egg crate would. The aluminum material resists heat from lamps sitting directly above and will not yellow or warp over time. If your facility uses a mix of troffer types, contact our Clearwater team for help matching the right panel to each fixture.
